Exhibition Description:
Jee-hyun Kwun’s solo exhibition 「Low-Poly Couture」 presents a digital couture collection that expands the fundamental unit of digital 3D modeling—the Low-Poly Triangle—into the expressive language of fashion.
The works featured in this exhibition reinterpret immaterial structures generated by image-based AI through the artist’s creative intervention, transforming them into wearable silhouettes and refined garment details.
Through this process, she explores the intersection where technology and art, structure and emotion converge, proposing a new methodology for fashion design and suggesting a direction for digital fashion aesthetics in which the virtual and the real coexist.

展示会の説明:
クォン・ジヒョンの個展「Low-Poly Couture」は、デジタル3Dモデリングの基本単位である「Low-Poly Triangle」をファッションの造形言語に拡張したデジタルクチュールコレクションだ。
この展示で紹介される作品は、画像生成型AIによって構築された非物質的な構造を、作家の創造的な介入を通じて着用可能な服のシルエットとディテールで再構成した結果物である。
これを通じて作家は技術と芸術、構造と感性が交差する境界でファッションデザインの新しい方法論を探求し、仮想と現実の美学が共存するデジタルファッションの方向性を提示している。

전시 설명:
권지현 작가의 개인전 「로우폴리 쿠튀르(Low-Poly Couture)」는 디지털 3D 모델링의 기본 단위인 ‘로우폴리 삼각형(Low-Poly Triangle)’을 패션의 조형 언어로 확장한 디지털 쿠튀르(Digital Couture) 컬렉션이다.
이번 전시에 소개되는 작품들은 이미지 생성형 AI가 구축한 비물질적 구조를 작가의 창의적 개입을 통해 웨어러블한 의복의 실루엣과 디테일로 재구성한 결과물이다.
이를 통해 작가는 기술과 예술, 구조과 감성이 교차하는 경계에서 패션 디자인의 새로운 방법론을 탐구하고, 가상과 현실의 미학이 공존하는 디지털 패션의 한 방향성을 제안한다.
