This exhibition reinterprets Chochungdo, a traditional genre of Korean painting, through
contemporary fashion imagery. The delicate vitality of nature is combined with the human body, clothing, and fashion objects, transforming traditional motifs into a new visual language. The works are created by integrating freehand drawing with digital illustration and image-editing techniques. Organic, hand-drawn lines intersect with digital colors and forms, while the natural imagery of Chochungdo is transformed into contemporary fashion silhouettes and surreal compositions. Through this process, the exhibition explores how tradition and modernity, nature and humanity, and analog and digital practices intersect and are continually reconstructed.
