JUNG DAWOOL 1ST Solo Exhibition
The Flow of Layers

This exhibition explores how garments can extend beyond simple objects of wear into sculptural forms shaped by layers, flow, and structure. Soft textiles such as lace and chiffon accumulate and cascade around the body, creating new silhouettes. These layers function not merely as decoration but as essential structural elements of the garment, presenting the dress as a fluid structure formed through movement rather than a fixed form. The Flow of Layers reveals how dresses composed of soft, layered textiles create an organic and spatial structure on the body.
The exhibition also experiments with integrating digital tools into traditional fashion creation. CLO 3D, Midjourney, and ChatGPT were actively used throughout the design process to explore forms, visualize concepts, and expand the narrative of the exhibition, suggesting new possibilities for fashion expression.
